As a K-popper you encounter quite many unfamiliar words. It is not always easy understanding what certain words mean. I have thus come up with this segment which I call 'Common K-pop words & phrases'. In this segment I will explain words and phrases you might encounter on your K-pop journey.

Aegyo (Korean: 애교): cute acting by either a male or female celebrity. Often expected of Korean celebrities. The idea is to charm fans. Expressed through facial expressions, gestures and/or a baby voice.
All-kill: When a K-pop song achieves #1 on every major Korean music chart at the same time. Usually not long after its release. Music charts such as; MelOn, Daum, MNet and Naver.
Anti-fan (Korean:안티 팬): Usually knowledgeable about the things they say or write. A person that hate a celebrity, a show or a movie, but who has the urge to write and/or say mean things about him/her/it. In short we call them "antis".
Bias (Korean: 바이어스): Your favorite member, singer or actor. A person you support no matter what. A fan can have several biases, but usually have a 'ultimate bias' above all others.
Bias ruiner/wrecker (Korean: 바이어스 파괴 범): An actor or idol that at certain times catches your attention. Often makes you rearrange your 'bias list'.
Bromance (Korean: 브 로맨스): comes from the two words; brother + romance. A close friendship between two male idols or actors, which seems to be more than 'friendship'.
Chocolate abs (Korean: 초콜릿복근): Refers to the defined, muscular abdominal muscles male idols have. Like the defined pieces of a chocolate bar.
Comeback (stage) (Korean: 컴백): Can refer to an artist or a group that after a long hiatus returns with a song or album. Usually refers to a returning group or solo artist with previous released singles. They return to the music scene with a new album, or single. And promotes by performing on a music TV Show.
Concept: During a comeback, the idols/idol change their image so it fits with the new album theme. It is not uncommon that idols try a whole bunch of different concepts during their career.
Daebak (Korean: 대박): Meaning; "big hit/win". Used to describe something or someone as successful or awesome.
