Movie Review: Always (2011)

Chul Min, was once a boxer known for his "strong fists". Chul Min have a troubled childhood and tries to forget everything, he starts afresh by working as a parking lot attendant. Jung Hwa, a visually impaired women, shows up one late night to watch television at his tollbooth. She has not been notified that her usual drama buddy, no longer works there. Chul Min falls in love with her generosity and a budding romance is born. If they only knew what was approaching.

So Ji Sub plays the role as a man in love perfectly well. He makes you belive he actually is in love with Jung Hwa. From jealousy to pure love sickness  he's got it all.
Han Hyo Joo is an exellent actress in this production. She plays the girl as the visually impaired women astonishing good. Her acting was so good, that a wawe of compassion literally washed over me.

The camera crew has done an excellent job in this production with great detail to the smallest things. As quite a perfectionist myself, nothing is more satisfying than a movie with beautiful cinematography.

If you love a heartbreaking love story which can boast itself at having roots in real life, "Always" is the movie for you. The story is believable and something so many people can relate to. Love will always prevail no matter what. Sometimes we love someone so much that we would sacrifice our own life, so they could get their happiness. Things are not free in this harsh world. Some resort to drastic measures, so that the love of their life can live with freedom, happiness and be at peace.

I rate this movie 8.5/10. If you are tired of the typical romance movies where the main lead falls in love with the poor girl, I promise you that you will love this movie.

Taegukgi 태극기 (Meaning: Taeguk flag)

The South Korean flag, also known as the Taegukgi. Consist of three different parts; the rectangular white background, the red and blue Taeguk placed in the center, and four different trigrams (selected from the original eight (Chinese: Bagua)) placed in each corner of the flag. The background has a white colour, which is a Korean traditional colour. The colour white represents peace and purity. Taeguk is the blue and red circle found in the center of the flag. The upper half circle, red, of Taeguk means yang and the lower half circle, blue, means yin. This symbol comes from the philosophy of yin and yang, and represents the balance of the universe. Because the taeguk is associated with the national flag of South Korea, it is often used as a patriotic symbol, as are the colors red, blue and black. The four trigrams together represents the principle of movement and harmony. Each trigram represent one of the four elements; earth, water, air and fire. Each trigram consist of th...
